Six Federal Bands in a Single Radio
Helix operates on six software selectable bands (M1-M6) within 1625-2510 MHz. These bands remove a large operational complexity for DoD deployments around the world. The Helix radio incorporates advanced filters, one for each band to provide maximum protection against the interference.
mini OEM Form Factor
Minimal size and weight was a driving consideration during the Helix design phase. The mini OEM form factor consists of two boards (Baseband and RF boards) that can be mounted in a variety of configurations within the chassis to meet different space and thermal management considerations.

Like all Smart Radios, Helix is powered by Doodle Labs’ patented Mesh Rider technology. Many features have been designed specifically for the unmanned vehicle use case, such as optimized channels to carry command & control and video traffic. Range extension and swarming are facilitated by a dynamic mesh.

Helix Smart Radio is a core radio in the Blue sUAS Architecture and is verified to be compatible with a number of sUAS components, such as QGroundControl, Auterion and UXV Technologies.
