Doodle Labs partnered with Watts Innovations early on to enable the long range, reliable communications for Command & Control, telemetry, and HD video streaming required by their drone systems. A robust, high bandwidth datalink ensures connectivity to the drone at all times. The Smart Radio’s ability to identify C&C traffic through Differentiated Services and prioritize it to be sent with optimized radio settings via URLLC ensures the lowest possible latency for Command & Control. Similarly, video is identified, prioritized and optimized radio settings are applied providing seamless video streaming.

Doodle Labs has partnered with PAR Government, the architects of the game-changing TAK to develop a complete turn-key solution with the Wearable Smart Radio featuring Mesh Rider MANET technology. The Wearable Smart Radio, with a built-in WiFi hotspot, is a compact mesh radio supporting high throughput. The TAK client TeamConnect runs on commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

DroneSeed, a drone company in the US has developed a proprietary drone to replant deforested areas. Their advanced drone is capable of flying deep into austere environments that are hard to reach for humans and trucks. They plant trees by flying at low altitudes and precisely firing seedlings into the ground. DroneSeed turned to Doodle Labs to enable the communications architecture for their entire fleet when all other options were unable to maintain the data link over the required distances, and other high-power radios were both too expensive and too heavy to be viable.
