Scalable self-forming and self-healing Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) networks are resilient because they can dynamically find alternate routes and fail-over in case of route failure.
Our patented hybrid SDR technology enables a large family of multi-band and single-band radios.
Available in compatible form factors in all Unlicensed frequency bands for Commercial solutions and in our Helix configuration for Government solutions (Federal Bands).
Designed to provide resilient networks, Mesh Rider® has a built-in spectrum scanner that monitors in-band interference and provides automatic band and channel switching capabilities.
Advanced filtration and frequency-band shifting techniques are designed to minimize noise and block out-of-band signals.
In a point to multipoint configuration, Mesh Rider provides the ability to stream high quality video to multiple receiving nodes, like from a drone to numerous stakeholders on the ground.
Low latency, low problems. Mesh Rider is designed for reliable, long-range applications with real-time, immediate information from mobile nodes.
We designed our radios for scalable deployments. We want to support Commercial and Government projects pioneering innovative use cases.
Our radios are available in multiple use-case optimized form factors to allow you to take full advantage of the capabilities of Mesh Rider® in any system you’re building.
The design-in documentation in our self-serve Technical Library enables easy and rapid integration of our products and empowers engineers to maximize the features and functionality of Mesh Rider® radios. Documentation includes:
Integration and Configuration Guides
Datasheets on Mesh Rider® radios and antennas
Regulatory certifications and compliance information
Application and release notes, evaluation kit documentation, whitepapers and much more
Doodle Labs partnered with Watts Innovations early on to enable the long range, reliable communications for Command & Control, telemetry, and HD video streaming required by their drone systems. A robust, high bandwidth datalink ensures connectivity to the drone at all times. The Mesh Rider Radio’s ability to identify C&C traffic through Differentiated Services and prioritize it to be sent with optimized radio settings via URLLC ensures the lowest possible latency for Command & Control. Similarly, video is identified, prioritized and optimized radio settings are applied providing seamless video streaming.
We have partnered with Amazon Web Services’s (AWS’s) Disaster Response Team to develop a reference Disaster Emergency Communications network architecture that can be leveraged by any organization around the world. The AWS Disaster Response team is part of AWS’s Global Social Impact team and is focused on helping customers, partners, and communities respond to disasters globally through our cloud services and technology. For more information about the project, please visit the AWS Disaster Response Blog.
Doodle Labs has partnered with PAR Government, the architects of the game-changing TAK to develop a complete turn-key solution with the Wearable Mesh Rider Radio featuring Mesh Rider MANET technology. The Wearable Mesh Rider Radio, with a built-in WiFi hotspot, is a compact mesh radio supporting high throughput. The TAK client TeamConnect runs on commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Doodle Labs is proud to announce the achievement of a 116-kilometer data link using the Mesh Rider Radio in a mobile, aerial environment. The test was conducted by Paramount Advanced Technologies, a subsidiary of Paramount Group, a global aerospace and technology company founded in South Africa.
Deforestation is the second leading cause of climate change, and is the source of approximately 24% of greenhouse gas emissions. Combating deforestation has been identified as one of the most promising and cost-effective ways of lowering emissions. DroneSeed, a drone company in the US has developed a proprietary drone to replant deforested areas. Their advanced drone is capable of flying deep into austere environments that are hard to reach for humans and trucks. They plant trees by flying at low altitudes and precisely firing seedlings into the ground. DroneSeed turned to Doodle Labs to enable the communications architecture for their entire fleet when all other options were unable to maintain the data link over the required distances, and other high-power radios were both too expensive and too heavy to be viable.
