Beyond 300 Kilometers
Doodle Labs radios are field-proven at 328 km, establishing true beyond line-of-sight connectivity. Even at extreme distances, links remained stable with sustained throughput and uninterrupted video and GPS streaming.
Integrated System Design
This capability was achieved by combining RM-2025 Multiband Mesh Rider Radios with Optimum Solution’s high-gain blade and tracking antennas, supported by NuWaves bidirectional amplifiers. Together, these components delivered the link budget and signal integrity needed for extreme long-range performance.
Consistent Throughput Across Distance
At 80–120 km, the system sustained 3.9–5.7 Mbps TCP and 7.5–10.1 Mbps UDP. Even beyond 200 km, throughput remained strong at 3.9 Mbps TCP and 7.6 Mbps UDP. Signal strength consistently stayed above -80 dBm with minimal packet loss, ensuring reliability throughout the test.
Airborne-Proven Reliability
Operating at altitudes up to 7,500 ft, the system maintained stable connectivity across varied conditions, including multipath interference from ocean reflections. The radios consistently delivered both video and GPS data with low latency, validating performance in real-world airborne operations.
