Doodle Labs releases “External” Smart Radio

The Smart Radio platform provides an ultra-reliable, long-range, high-throughput wireless broadband data link for Industrial IoT applications. Its mesh capabilities make it particularly well-suited for mobile and robotics use cases, such as drones and unmanned ground vehicles.

Moreover, the Smart Radio is the most cost-effective solution in the market, consistently outperforming the competing MANET mesh routers that are 10-20x more expensive. This affordability allows the deployment of disruptive applications at scale.

“As the Smart Radio platform is adopted in a variety of IoT applications, we began hearing a consistent request from customers to provide an external form factor radio,” said Amol Parikh, VP of Marketing at Doodle Labs. “In fact, many of our customers have built their own housing for the embedded version. I am excited that we are able to address the needs of a wider group of customers.”
