Portable WiFi Hotspot for mobile devices
Military and Defense operations need reliable, high-quality communications to carry out defense missions in a variety of environments, and they can take advantage of less crowded frequency bands for optimal performance. The 2.2 GHz Smart Radio from Doodle Labs delivers for these needs by establishing a private MANET on the Federal S-Band. The S-Band ranges from 2200 to 2300 MHz and has a very long range, and similar benefits to the 2.4 GHz WiFi Band without the noise from other connected devices, making it ideal for urban environments.
Typical uses for our S-Band broadband radios in Defense applications include:
- Swarming with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) / drones on a mesh network
- Communications infrastructure for various unmanned/autonomous ground vehicles, with airborne mobile systems, and personnel
- Control of robotic systems for explosive ordnance neutralization and disposal
- Military research
- Air combat training systems
- Law enforcement video surveillance
