SWaP Optimized Form Factors

Minimal size and weight was a driving consideration during the design phase. The Embedded Smart Radio is smaller than half a pack of cards and weighs under 70 grams. Custom designed light weight Aluminum enclosure acts as the RF shield as well as for heat dissipation. Thus removing the burden of all regulatory emission requirements from our customers. It is available in models ranging from 400 MHz to 6 GHz frequency bands.

The OEM form factor goes even one step further and provides the Smart Radio in bare PCBAs for integrating in extreme size and weight constrained applications. It weighs only 26 grams and available in 400 MHz to 6 GHz frequency bands. Doodle Labs works with the customer during integration to help manage the heat management and regulatory certification issues.

Powered by Mesh Rider

All Smart Radios are powered by Doodle Labs’ patented Mesh Rider technology. Many features have been designed specifically for the unmanned vehicle use case, such as optimized channels to carry command & control and video traffic. Range extension and swarming are facilitated by a dynamic mesh.
